MỘT NGHIÊN CỨU ĐỊNH TÍNH VỀ NHẬN THỨC VÀ SỰ ỦNG HỘ CỦA NGƯỜI DÂN CHO PHÁT TRIỂN DU LỊCH CỘNG ĐỒNG

Bài viết này nhằm khám phá nhận thức của người dân địa phương về sự ủng hộ của họ cho phát triển du lịch cộng đồng (PTDLCĐ) ở huyện Tuy Phong, tỉnh Bình Thuận. Phương pháp nghiên cứu định tính được thực hiện với dữ liệu thu thập được từ 25 cuộc phỏng vấn bán cấu trúc về nhận thức của người dân địa phương. Kết quả nghiên cứu đã xác nhận những tiềm năng du lịch nổi bật liên quan đến biển, bờ biển và làng nghề phù hợp cho khai thác PTDLCĐ, những mong muốn của người dân, lợi ích và tổn thất của PTDLCĐ được nhận diện rõ ràng. Trên cơ sở đó, người dân có sự ủng hộ cho PTDLCĐ, như: ủng hộ về kế hoạch dài hạn của chính quyền địa phương, ủng hộ việc đầu tư cơ sở vật chất kĩ thuật (CSVCKT) du lịch (mua sắm, lưu trú, ăn uống), giao lưu văn hóa, các sáng kiến du lịch và bảo vệ môi trường. Người dân cũng nhấn mạnh vai trò của chính quyền địa phương, ý thức người dân địa phương và giáo dục khách du lịch về bảo vệ môi trường.
