Nhân tố Mĩ trong quan hệ chính trị, an ninh giữa Hàn Quốc và Cộng hòa dân chủ nhân dân Triều Tiên (CHDCND Triều Tiên) từ sau Chiến tranh lạnh đến nay (2022) được nghiên cứu dựa trên các tài liệu của Bộ Ngoại giao Hàn Quốc, Mĩ và các phát biểu chính thức của CHDCND Triều Tiên. Bài viết phân tích vai trò của nhân tố Mĩ trong quan hệ Hàn Quốc – CHDCND Triều Tiên từ sau Chiến tranh lạnh đến nay trên hai bình diện chủ đạo là chính trị và an ninh. Cụ thể, bài viết dựa trên việc khái quát mối quan hệ tay ba Mĩ – Hàn – Triều trong lịch sử và diễn tiến của mối quan hệ Hàn Quốc – Triều Tiên dưới tác động của nhân tố Mĩ kể từ khi Chiến tranh lạnh kết thúc cho tới hết nhiệm kì của Tổng thống Moon Jae In (2022) để khái quát hóa những điểm cơ bản nhất về vai trò của Mĩ trong quan hệ chính trị, an ninh liên Triều; từ đó, có thể đưa ra những nhận xét, đánh giá về tác động của nhân tố này đến mối quan hệ Hàn – Triều.
